Marvel Universe is an expansive verse with alot of characters, as such many degrees of power levels exist. Marvel Comics have been adapted into various films, television series, books, video games and other forms of media, most notable being the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is one of the highest grossing film franchises in the world. Marvel Comics is a comic book publishing company that has created many iconic superheroes such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, the Hulk, and Captain America, alongside many others.īeginning in 1939 as Timely Comics, its main production was focused on pulp magazines, with the Human Torch, Namor the Submariner and Captain America being some of the earliest superheroes featured.Įventually being named Marvel Comics, the company had a resurgence in early 1960s under the helm of Stan Lee, with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko as the other main creators of currently iconic characters.
